Metacafe Lawsuit

Metacafe Privacy Lawsuit

Kyros Law is currently investigating the Internet privacy practices of provides short-form original video from content producers such as television networks, movie studios, music producers, video game manufacturers and the sports industry.  Its primary audience is males between the ages of 18 and 34.

Metacafe claims to have more exclusive, original and curated premium video content than any other entertainment site.  It claims to be a top-3 video site in the U.S., with 12 million unique monthly viewers (40 million worldwide)!

Metacafe offers consumers two choices.  First, a consumer can simply watch a video clip at Metacafe’s web site.  Or a consumer can register as a Metacafe member to submit and rate videos, add comments and join discussions.

The investigation we are conducting implicates both types of consumers, registered and unregistered.  Federal privacy law places various restrictions on how a web site may aggregate the information you provide the web site and even greater restrictions when the web site involves video content.  Forensic evidence suggests that Metacafe may be violating these federal laws.

If you have watched a video clip on the Metacafe web site or if you have registered on the Metacafe web site and would like to learn more about our investigation, please call Attorneys Bill Kyros at 1-800-934-2921 or fill out info below to discuss your rights.
